BOOKING TERMS

These terms apply to every session booked with Damian Grant Wood, a sole proprietor trading as Damian Wood ("I", "me"). By booking a session, you confirm that you have read and accepted them.

1. Sessions

I offer in-person sessions in Greenstone Hill, Johannesburg, and virtual sessions held online. Session types, lengths and prices are shown on the Book a Session page. Overseas session prices are charged in South African rand.

2. Booking and payment

Sessions are paid for in full, online, at the time of booking. Your booking is confirmed once payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation. Payments are processed in South African rand by Yoco. If you pay with a foreign card, your bank converts the amount and may charge its own fees.

3. Cancelling or rescheduling

• 24 hours or more before your session: you may reschedule, or cancel for a full refund.
• Less than 24 hours before your session: a cancellation charge of up to the full session fee applies. I will take into account the notice you gave and whether I could fill the time with another client.
• If you do not attend: this is treated as a cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice.
• Death or hospitalisation: no cancellation charge applies if you cannot attend because the person the session was booked for has died or been hospitalised.

4. Late arrivals

Please arrive, or join your virtual session, on time. If you are late, your session may be shortened to fit the time booked, and the full fee still applies.

5. If I need to cancel

If I have to cancel or move your session, I will let you know as soon as I can and offer you a new time or a full refund.

6. Virtual sessions

You will receive a video link for your session. Please make sure you have a stable internet connection and a private, quiet space. If technical problems on my side prevent the session from going ahead, I will reschedule it at no charge.

7. Refunds

Approved refunds are returned to the card used to pay. The time this takes depends on the payment provider and your bank.

8. What to expect

Intuitive readings and Reiki are offered as personal and spiritual support. They are based on my intuition and experience, and I cannot guarantee any particular outcome, message or result. You remain responsible for your own decisions.

My sessions do not replace medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal or financial advice. I do not diagnose conditions or prescribe treatment. Please do not stop or change any treatment because of a session, and seek professional help where you need it. If you are in crisis or an emergency, please contact your local emergency services.

9. Who can book

You must be 18 or older to book.

10. Confidentiality and recordings

I treat what you share in a session as confidential, unless the law requires me to disclose it. Please do not record a session without my permission. My Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled.

11. Respect

I may end or decline a session if behaviour is abusive or threatening, or if I feel I cannot help you.

12. Your legal rights and governing law

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other South African law that cannot legally be excluded. These terms are governed by the law of South Africa.
